2024 Sponsorship Opportunity

May 01, 2022

Add a blog and update it regularly. It's a great way to stay in touch with site visitors.

If you're signing up to be in a clinic, there are somethings you'll need to know to be prepared! Here we will explain!

  • Gear - Always make sure to check with your trainer, the clinician, or us for what exactly you will need for gear! Some clinicians may require things that others do not, so it is always important to find out everything you're going to need! Gear can be, but not limited to, saddle, saddle pad, bridle, lunge line, rope halter and lead line, lunge line, boots for the horse, polo wraps, lunge whips, etc.

We recommend having a list of everything you need to have at least a week before the event, so you give yourself some time to make last minute purchases or changes!

  • Attire - This goes hand in hand with gear, but it is so important, we wanted to make a point to explain. Always check what the dress code will be! In an English event, you'll need to know if a clinician expects proper britches, or if they are okay with legging or jeans. In a western event, you'll want to know if you can ride in a regular t-shirt or need to have your nice dress shirt tucked in with a nice belt.

No matter what discipline you're riding in, we highly recommend always dressing your best. It is a big show of respect to your horse, trainer, clinician and the facility when you take the time to look nice.

  • Cleanliness - In any clinic you ever ride in, make sure your horse and tack are CLEAN! Scrub every single crevasse of your saddle and bridle, make sure your horse is freshly bathed the day before and groomed well before entering the arena.  You're riding boots are polished, and clothes are clean. Have a nice clean saddle pad. Take pride in your horse and tack! BE CLEAN AND SPARKLING!

  • Grounds Rules - When you ride in a clinic you'll most likely be trailering in somewhere. Wherever you go, make a point to have a copy of the facilities rules and regulations. Some places may allow dogs, while other do not. Some events will allow stallions, others will not. You can contact the facility owner or manager and ask for a copy!

These are the big things to make sure you know! As always, feel free to reach out with any questions!

Have a great day!!
