Why this information is important:
The equine world is wonderful and having the joy and privilege of owning a horse is an experience unlike any other. However, it is also dangerous, and done incorrectly can put riders, owners and the horses at very high risk. This page is dedicated to helping equestrians of all disciplines and skill levels find a facility and program they can trust to not only take care of their horse(s), but to have your best interest in mind.
Qualifications to be an approved facility/program:
- Insured facility and program
- Reputable trainer(s) with proper riding background
- Good health of school horses and boarder's horses
- Proper riding arena and round pen with safe footing
- Stall shelters with shade and wind break wall
- Helmet requirement for people 18 and under
